Over 5800 square feet of fine living just two blocks from downtown St. Augustine, Florida.
This incredible Queen Anne Victorian Home, known as the Upham Winter Cottage, was built in 1893 for Col. John J. Upham and his wife. It is one of the tallest residential structures in our fine city and was designed for relaxing and entertaining.
The first floor offers a unique, 3 sided fireplace opening to three rooms and a completely renovated, modern kitchen. The garden is spectacular with a new fountain and massive brick walls. The north side of the home was a later addition consisting of a “drive thru” carriage house and a small ball room onto the north side of the Cottage (now converted to a 3 bedroom apartment/suite).
Over the years, the house was sectioned off into apartments. Currently, the main area of the house has been beautifully restored. The remainder of the house consists of 2-3 apartments which have recently been renovated and assimilated back into the main home.
HP1 zoning allows for multi-family use in the event you would care to re-establish the home as a multi-family dwelling.
